Brief History of the Artistic Director:
Ms.J.King Graduated Magna cum laude from Miami Northwestern Sr. High in 2010. During her time at Miami Northwestern Sr. High she participated in numerous activities such as PAVAC dance, the student government as Homecoming Queen, the Sister to Sistah organization and the Marching band as a golden girl dancer and served as a captain in 2007.
She later furthered her education at Florida Memorial University in which she participated in many organizations as well such as the honors program and was inducted as a member of the National Honors Society. She was also a part of Florida Memorial dance team as a Sapphire dancer and was Captain of her team her 2nd year of dancing. She recently graduated with honors as Magna cum laude and received a degree in the field of criminal justice.
At age 23 she decided exemplify success by giving back to the community through her gift of dance and mentorship by starting a dance company for young ambitious girls who had the desire to dance. January 17, 2015, JDiva’s (Jazzy, Determined, influential, vibrant, asset to society) Dance Company was founded with a mission to groom young ladies who have the passion to dance into professional dancers as well as influential leaders in all aspects of life.
